"I do agree that real change in America is nearly hopeless. But if anyone can do it, this guy can."

Fran Trutt (according to Wikipedia) "is an American animal rights activist. She was convicted of an attempted murder of the president of a medical company in 1988." She may have been entrapped. Hers is the closest case I know of to person-on-person violence originating among "animal rights" activists. I have next to no idea what happened with her or what her intentions were. I do not support "animal rights."

Violence done in the name of religion generally gets a pass. I document this every single day at my blog. I support the withering away of religion under the twin suns of reason and scorn.

What I support or don't support, plus $2.30, will buy you an all-zone bus pass in Portland that is good for a couple hours.

As a veteran and member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, I applaud the actions of Blackwater. It is an American right to pick up arms against our Republican ideals. I share many things in commons with Mr. Prince in both influence and affluence. I think he has shown the true capitalist spirit in launching a company that can be profitable and serve our administration's (Bush, not Obama) interests.

I have personally spent nearly a half a million dollars equipping the Department of Homeland Security with patrol boats to keep our Lake Michigan shores safe from hostile terrorist acts. At the same time, these boats have relieved the Coast Guard of many patrol duties, enabling them to apprehend intoxicated boaters, board countless vessels for no-notice safety checks and take many recreational boaters off of our waterways, making them safe for the rest of us.

There should be more Americans like Prince and myself.
